About the Role

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives. You do this by being present in public places, which hopefully has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act.

Securitas has varied assignments that create a significant impact on other people's lives, and here you have the opportunity to make a real difference!

This position is suitable for you who enjoy working with people and want to make a socially important contribution. We have a strong community and a wide range of experience among our 140 colleagues that enables us to handle most situations. If you want to be part of a close-knit team, this is the job for you.

The current assignment involves working as both a security guard and a watchman. You will be based in Linköping and primarily work day/evening shifts, but you should also be flexible to work nights.

Requirements

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a calm and stable person who can maintain composure even when a lot is happening around you. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility in your role and can remain objective when required. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard training and a valid security guard license
• You have good knowledge of Swedish
• Driver's license B
• Security guard training
• 2 years of documented experience in the security industry.

Preferred

* Protection guard training

* English spoken and written

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
